APRS Set up

Welcome to my current APRS set up.
Awaiting my new X50 antenna for my bedroom handheld and a secondary APRS antenna. Photo taken 30/09/2013.

The weather sensors for the APRS weather. The unit to the bottom left of the pole is the weather station and transmitter. The unit in the middle right is the rain sensor then at the top the wind sensors.

A home brew antenna set up for multi band set up. It has two handheld antennas connected to a SO239 T adapter.  This is connected back to my shack in to a SDR dongle. The secondary use for this is to allow APRS to be processed during the nightly shut down of the main radio and equipment.

The mast before the X50 antenna is connected. You can see the back up APRS antennas in place. Just to the top right of the mast you can see my 70CM dipole for projects.

The APRS receiving radio which is a Icom F510 VHF. This radio is then connected in to the local nettop via the speaker socket. The radio at time of writing is only RX.

In the photo this is my shacks ops. This has the screen for the weather station that is connected to the nettop. This is where all the APRS / SSTV / weather data is handled.
